What is Foster Care ?
Foster care is a temporary living arrangement for children who cannot safely remain with their biological families. Children may enter foster care because of abuse, neglect, abandonment, family conflict, substance abuse in the household, or other unsafe conditions.
The goal of foster care is to provide children with stability, support, and care while families work toward reunification whenever possible.
