Fostering Wishes is an all-volunteer organization in need of volunteers who have professional and managerial experience in several roles including marketing, finance, fundraising, IT. Please email us if you would love to contribute your expertise to our wonderful cause.

The Holiday Gift Drive is Fostering Wishes’ signature program, designed to bring joy and warmth to foster children during the holiday season. Each year, we collaborate with businesses and the community to provide gifts, ensuring every foster child receives something special just for them.

Foster children often move between homes with little notice and many use trash bags to carry their belongings. Our program provides sturdy duffle bags filled with essential items including clothing and comfort items. Help our volunteers stuff bags or coordinate a duffle bag drive at your school or office!

The Teen Empowerment Program ensures foster teens have equal access to extracurricular activities, allowing them to fully engage in the high school experience. Foster youth often face financial barriers that prevent them from participating and this program helps to cover costs.

The Trade School Scholarship Program empowers foster youth to pursue vocational education and career opportunities beyond traditional academic paths. This program provides financial support for foster youth to attend trade schools, vocational programs, or technical institutions.

A meaningful opportunity for high school or middle school children + their families - volunteer together and make a real difference for foster youth! Join volunteer events as a family, or, family adults can take on larger leadership roles at Fostering Wishes.
